Easily give this game a 10/10!. Wow, I wasn't expecting to have this much fun with this game. This game, in my opinion, is a pretty great Binding of Isaac clone. I wouldn't be fooled by the bland combat at the beginning, soon you will unlock powerups and weapons, or just continually upgrade the speed of your weapon. There are pets yopu can unlock, which when you reach a certain amount they then fuse together to make a really strong pet. There's also a selection of characters to unlock, all offering a new mix to the game.This game is in no way AS good as Binding of Isaac, but I still had a lot of fun with it and would recommend it for a few hours of fun. Actually I think I will probably play this game some more.. The Story Goes on take like a binding of issac feel to it but takes it to a whole new level with great music and amazing fight system. I love the sword mechianes in this game i would rate this a 8.5/10 (Because it's still in dev. Who knows what kind of goodies are to come!. The developed provided me with a copy of this game to review*I haven't played many roguelikes, but I have played quite a bit of the original The Binding of Isaac, and there are many similarities here. This one, however, somehow manages to pull off an even more amateurish vibe while remaining an entertaining bit of dungeon-mazing. Not a lot of polish to be found in The Story Goes On, typos being the most irksome, and the difficulty isn't at a level to challenge a veteran gamer, so overall it seems Scarecrow Arts is appealing to a younger target audience, which is fine with me, but understandably a turn-off for others.One hopes that the developers take full advantage of Early Access and community interaction to improve their game, and from what I've read it looks like this has been the case so far.Finally, for the achievement fans like myself, there's a handful of luck-based ones, but overall it's a straightforward affair to completion.. Refunded after an hour. Everything about this game makes it a subpar rogue-like. Ridiculousy easy dungeons, boring upgrades that are predominately raw stat based.
